Since 2015, I have been running Fuzzy N Chic, starting from handmade Tamagotchi cases and expanding our lineup to include many types of merchandise, the current most popular one being our signature Tamagotchi leather zipper pouch. I initiatelly started this entrepreneurial journey alone, but by 2017 the business grew so much that I became overwhelmed handling it all by myself. That's when I recruited Grace, and ever since then she has been the main person behind most of the business' day-to-day activities: taking & fulfilling orders, QC, packing & shipping, updating the website's product listings, and replying customers' messages. She's also the main artist and designer of most of our in-house designed products, namely our very own signature Tamagotchi leather zipper pouches. All this time, I was in the backseat, and while I was still the owner making big-picture decisions, she mostly ran the daily business operations on her own.
(Fun fact: Our Aug 2020 release was so heavily copied and sold by China seller(s) on Amazon, that some people actually thought we got ours from there and slapped our own brand on them.)
I have decided, after 11 years of running Fuzzy N Chic as a business selling Tama merch, to take a different direction. I realized that I was never really an entrepreneurial person to start with. All I wanted to do was to share my love for Tamas with the community. I will still keep Fuzzy N Chic, not as a platform to sell Tama merch, but as a place where Tama parents come for guides and downloads for their Tamas. Fuzzy N Chic is not going anywhere; it is a name that most of you have come to know and love. On my Instagram account, along with my website, Fuzzy N Chic will continue to be a place where I share educational, helpful and informational content to the community.
That being said, the old products previously sold by Fuzzy N Chic, including our signature leather pouch, will be sold at a separate shop run by Grace, under her new business Doodle Pixel.
As for me? As a gesture of thanks for the past 11 years of support, here's a final farewell gesture and parting gift to the community: I am releasing one final product, but this time, 100% managed by me without Grace. I will PERSONALLY OVERSEE the ENTIRE PROCESS: From creating the product and sourcing for a manufacturer to taking orders, packing, and shipping. All artwork is by me. Every single step of the process will be managed by me personally: from the moment the artwork design is created, to production, packing, and all the way to when it arrives to your doorstep. In the spirit of this being a farewell piece, I am selling this at almost cost price.
